This scholarship helps promising students cross the first financial hurdle between secondary school and university. It is a transparent annual commitment: local in focus, simple to apply for, and fair enough to earn the community's trust.

How to apply
Complete the Google Form by August 31, 2026. An admission letter is not required at the application stage.

The 10 highest-scoring eligible applicants will be contacted and invited to an interview.

Every complete and eligible application is scored using the same published criteria. The 10 highest-scoring applicants proceed to interview.

The 2026 cycle
Applications close August 31. Conditional recipients then have until October 31 to complete the admission and acceptance-fee requirements.

Conditional-award policy
Admission is not required when applying or interviewing. However, a conditional recipient must secure admission and pay the university acceptance fee before receiving the scholarship.
